I have a couple of versions of the Abus Bordo 6000 lock and love it. For most uses, the 90 cm version is just fine. When riding with my wife, I like to use the 1.2 meter version that can easily lock two bikes at once. I like the link design better than a chain as it folds up and stores on your bike better. The steel links are also very hard for a thief to cut. Much better than a cable.

My only issue is the strap that secures the lock into the bracket (attaches the lock to bike for travel) broke easily – but I was able to repair it. beware of the Bordo “Lite” version which does not have solid steel under the plastic.
