We met with Kenda Tire Mountain Bike Marketing Manager Roger Hernandez to talk through some new releases for 2014. Hernandez introduced us to two new Honey Badger Tires; the Honey Badger XC and Honey Badger DH, as well as the new Juggernaut fat tire.

The Honey Badger XC is a lighter version of the original Honey Badger. Built for speed, this 2.05" tire will be available in 29 and 27.5. The Honey Badger DH has a new grid on the outside for protection and features their performance Dual Tread Compound (a combination of their Stick-E and Race Stick-E rubber). The DH will be available in 27.5x2.4, 27.5x2.2, 26x2.4 and 26x2.2 and weighs in under 1,000g (folding) and 1,200(wirebead).

Last up is the new Juggernaut fat tire. This fast rolling performance fat bike tire was designed with John Tomac and is based on Kenda's popular Nevegal design. Currently available in a 26x4.0 with a 26x4.5 due later this year. Learn more at www.kendatire/en/bicycle.
