Magura introduced their eLECT automatic compression system for front forks last year and follows up now by extending this technology to rear shocks. Magura Technical Service Manager Jude Monica shows us how the wireless system works.

The eLECT module reads undulations in terrain and reacts by opening or closing the front and rear suspension valving to simultaneously lockout or unlock the suspension as appropriate. The system requires just 6.5 degrees of terrain variation to trigger a reaction and is calibrated to react in .02 of a second. Manual override is available, allowing the rider to turn off both front and rear, or to engage front and rear individually. More details available online at www.magura.com.
