Specialized AllRide Chronicles

We are excited to finally announce what’s new in 2011 with the Specialized AllRide tour.

First off, WE HAVE A WEBSITE!! www.allridetour.com or www.kirtvoreis.com We have spent much of the winter slaving over the details that go into a legit website. We finally have a place to house all the information about what the heck AllRide is. Please check it out. If you are on this mailing, you’re special and you’ll be getting Specialized AllRide Chronicles and News Briefs a few times a month. Thank you for your support if you’re reading this and thanks for caring about AllRide!

The Specialized AllRide Tour is proud to announce we have a new right-hand man and mechanic in the house! Colin Bailey has officially been added to the AllRide program. Kirt has looked forward to Colin being by his side again like in their younger days, but his world cup racing and then world cup wrenching kept him from AllRide. Kirt finally asked Colin to join forces and lend his riding and mechanic skills, life lessons and support for the tour and Academy kids. Colin says: “I’m very excited to be working with the AllRide family. I believe in the AllRide name and love what it represents. I ride all disciplines of mountain bikes and look forward to promoting the lifestyle and wrenching on the Specialized AllRide Tour.” For more info on Colin click here.

The next change for 2011 is Kirt has decided to switch helmet companies! He is excited to help promote the sweet new line of Fox helmets! He has believed in the Fox brand for nearly two decades and is excited to protect his noggin’ with some quality Fox lids.

We are more than excited to announce our new SOCK partner! SOS, Save our Soles socks has provided us with some killer custom AllRide socks. Come find us on the road to buy a pair, or send us an email and we will hook you up!

We have to admit this next sponsor has spoiled us rotten, or should I say our feet are spoiled. First we get great socks with our logo on them, now we’ve been getting UGG boots and some Teva mountain bike shoes that have literally knocked our socks off! We are testing new products from parent company, Deckers, who owns Ugg Australia and Teva to name a few. Why wouldn’t you want a closet full of the most comfortable, durable and most imitated shoes in the world? They are awesome!!! Thanks Deckers!

Fun news for the Academy kids. First off we are proud to congratulate our first Specialized AllRide Academy “Graduate”, Richie Rude! Richie has been a force to be reckoned with on the race circuit and we feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to help him along on his journey towards the World Champion we know he can be! Good luck Richie! For more info click here.

Austin Aldrich has signed his own deal with Fox Riders Co. We are very proud of Austin for all of his hard work and dedication to the sport.

Cierra Smith and Mikey Sylvestri will be running rad new Troy Lee Designs gear and they couldn’t be more stoked.

We encourage our Academy riders to get out and find their own sponsors based on their personalities and what fits their style. We are not a factory team, the Specialized AllRide Academy is a program designed to help kids get experience in the mountain bike industry and learn about life… We don’t provide absolutely everything for them, we help them learn how to earn it themselves.

Going to the Dogs

And last but not least our dogs, Gracie and Rocco, are officially sponsored by Ruff Wear products for dogs on the go! Now when we are camping, swimming in lakes and rivers, spending time in the kayaks, etc… the dogs will be set up with all of their outdoor adventure needs! Thanks Ruff Wear, Rocco and Gracie are STOKED to be so stylish and safe in their stellar gear!
