XC World Cup Julie Bresset , Getting into the Mood!

It looks more and more like our WERX team athlete Julie Bresset (BH-SR Suntour – Peisey Vallandry) is getting into her race mood this season. After finishing 5th at the first World Cup in South Africa, Julie took 2nd place behind a very strong Catherine Pendrel.

Julie started off very strong led the field early in the race.  On the 3rd lap, a very strong Catherine Pendrel started to attack Julie on a long uphill section and pulled ahead. Nevertheless Julie dug in and kept Maja Wloszczowska in third place.

Julie’s WERX team mate Annika Langvad (Team Fujibikerockets) again finished 13th. Maxime Marotte (BH – SR Suntour – Peisey Vallandry) battled into 13th place within the men’s elite race.
