May 11th, 2011, Oakland, CA: Syntace, the maker of high end German components has added two new distributors for 2012 further expanding the availability of the brand to the US market. Syntace, which for the last year has distributed exclusively through Quality Bicycle Parts (QBP), has added Bicycle Technologies International (BTI) and The Hawley company. Both distributors will offer a full range of Mountain, Road and Tri handlebars, stems, seatposts, tools and accessories. “We’re thrilled to be working with three very respected distributors in the industry to give Syntace broader availability to dealers,” said Kenny Roberts, owner and General Manager of Juniper Action Strategies, the US agency for Syntace.
Juniper Action Strategies / Syntace USA will continue to offer customer, warranty and tech support for the brand out of its new facility in Oakland California. The US facility also supports the 10 year warranty which is offered on all Syntace products. Syntace USA, which also sells dealer direct, carries a full range of products for its employee purchase program as well as small parts and accessories that other distributors may not carry. “We want to take care of the customer and give consumers what they want even if it’s a just a few pieces of a particular product a year”, explained Roberts. “For example, we’ll carry the super high end Number Nine pedals which none of our distributors offer yet, but we get a number of requests for throughout the year”. Syntace USA also has a Shopatron site in order to further help build it’s dealer base and offer dealers another way to capitalize on the growing interest in the brand.
Juniper Action Strategies / Syntace USA has also started importing the Liteville brand of bikes making it the first time that the storied German brand has been available to the US Market. Liteville, which was developed by and is owned by Syntace, will offer two frames to the US market, the 140-160mm 301 and the 165-190mm 601, with each having two different travel options. Liteville frames utilize a patented four bar link design and come equipped with the Syntace patented X-12 axle system as well as offering an array of other exclusive Liteville features such as its optional derailleur crash guard and integrated chain guide system. “This is a light frame at 2450 grams with the Fox shock and a very active design which climbs like a goat and offers fantastic stability for the descents”, says Roberts. Liteville frames come with their famous 5+5 10 year warranty. Syntace USA is actively seeking dealers across the country to represent the Liteville brand.
