The Team Jamis presented its factory racing team last weekend in Israel and Utah aboard Jamis’ new Dakota dXC and d29 Team models. Ishay finished 2nd and 3rd in the UCI C1 events in Israel while new recruit Squire was 4th in Utah.

“We’re excited to welcome to the team American Robbie Squire, 19, who joins returning member Rotem Ishay, 23, of Israel” said Jamis front man Sal Crochiola. “these guys will be anchoring the team in UCI and World Cup cross country events in Europe and North America as they prepare for their respective national championship races and ultimately, the World Championship mountain bike events in Canada later this summer.”

New Englander Adam Snyder, 25, returns to Team Jamis again for 2010, where he’ll join former road pro, Omer Kem, 28, of Salem, Oregon, and returning members Blake Harlan, 23, of Boulder, Colorado, and Jason Sager in all mountain, cross country and endurance XC races.

“Our goal is to make an impact on the events we attend – be it a UCI cross country event, opinion leading regional event, or an endurance downhill race stage race. Our goals are race podiums and to ride the most shredable trails in the areas we’re racing in along the way; however, the highest goals for the team are the championship events.” said manager Jason Sager of his team’s ambitions. “We want athletes racing in their respective national championship jerseys and riding their Jamis bikes at the World Championships this summer.”

Site the 2010 sponsor list, Sager said “We have one of the most comprehensive selection of bikes I’ve ever had access to – from 9 kilogram carbon 29′er hardtails with tubular Edge Composites wheels and GEAX tires, to the new Dakar SixFifty B2 platform trail bike. We’ve pulled together an exciting group of sponsors again for 2010.

Jamis has made real-world performance for over 30 years and are pushing their products to new limits and we’re excited to bring back all of our same partners from last year – GEAX tires again will provide tubular and clincher tires in both 26″ and 29″ platforms while we roll on Edge Composites carbon molded bars, stems, and seat posts, and of course their tubular and clincher mountain hoops

The Chris King Cycle Group will provide their new INset headset systems and mountain hubs, FSA’s 386 race specific BB30 crankset mated to SRAM’s XX ten speed drive train and Rock Shox suspension tie together the bike with Hayes Carbon Gram brakes to keep the speed under control. WTB saddles and grips make the contact points as comfortable as they are fast.

Additional partners include Crank Brothers pedals, GoreTex seal cable systems, Mt Borah custom cycling clothing, Specialized Shoes, Clif Bar nutritional products, and Louis Garneau helmets and gloves.

Riders will open their domestic season at the first US Cup event in Bonelli Park before heading to Puerto Rico and later, the Pan Am Championships in Guatemala before their reunion at the Sea Otter Classic in April.

On the staff side, the team will be supported by mechanic Christian Leask, the masseur Stephanie Tighe and personal trainer Robbie Robinette.

Team Jamis will be supported in their adventures and racing conquests by Jamis Bikes, Geax Tires, Edge Composites wheels stems, seat posts, and handle bars, Chris King hubs, Rock Shox, Gore RideOn Systems, WTB saddles and grips, Hayes Brakes, Crank Brothers, FSA BB30 crank and BB system, SRAM, and Clif Bar
