Teva Mountain Games Slopestyle Results and Sam Pilgrim Videos

What is it?

Teva believes in supporting and showcasing the elite athletes in the disciplines where they produce products.  It’s good to see baseball, basketball, golf athletes compete but wouldn’t it be refreshing to see the the mountain bikers, paddlers, climbers get some recognition too for their excellence in their sport. Well, that’s Teva’s view and they step up every year and invest in the Teva Mountain Games, held in Vail, CO every year. With their roots in watersports footwear, they’ve ventured into the world of cycling and have gone all in towards supporting Slopestyle athletes and competition.

The Teva Slopestyle is one of North America’s top freeride mountain bike events where athletes battle it out on a big air course loaded with gap jumps, berms, spines and creative man-made features that challenge the laws of gravity.  The rules are simple; riders are judged on creativity, amplitude and technique.  During the qualifying round, each rider takes two runs down the course, and his best score of the two is counted.  The top 12 riders then advance to the finals.  In the final round, all the riders take another two runs down the course, with their best of the two counting toward the overall total.
