Triple Dhip Downhill Mountain Biking Challenge

GRANBY, CO. – The Triple DHip Downhill Mountain Biking Challenge serves up thrills for top-tier cyclists and spectators alike, as the town of Granby launches three days of holiday fun this Memorial Day weekend.

The race takes place at SolVista Bike Park at Granby Ranch, located just 15 minutes north of Winter Park in Granby, Colorado. With a $50,000 purse of cash and prizes, this event will bring the best professional and amateur downhill cyclists in the world – perfect for spectators seeking a full weekend of excitement.

sponsorship, the Triple DHip event now sits in the top tier of mountain bike events in the United States. The list of international riders is growing daily. Prepare to be impressed.”

The Town of Granby will be in full holiday mode with a schedule of in-town and Bike Park activities that kick off Friday evening May 27 with a pig roast, live music, and registration at Maverick’s Grille in downtown Granby.

On Saturday, May 28th, SolVista Bike Park opens for racers and spectators can hike lift-served mountain trails at Granby Ranch, golf championship Headwaters Golf Course, fish private blueribbon Fraser River, or soak up the sun on the patio at Granby Ranch’s Seven Trails Grille. Bike trails are open to registered race participants only. Evening brings the party to the park in downtown Granby with a dirt-jumping exhibition, food, music, and a beer garden.

Sunday, May 29 – 30th features downhill contests in three stages with viewing areas where spectators can watch some of the most exciting downhill action of the summer, featuring leading downhill racers. Live music, food and drink specials, an outdoor barbeque and awards ceremony will round out both days.
