The Bell Super is part of a new generation of helmets that are cropping out to meet the demands of Enduro racing and the all-mountain style of riding. These helmets offer more coverage and protection and have an integrated visor and a few other features so the rider can pedal up in comfort and bomb down the trails with style and protection.
We’ve used the Bell Super for a few rides now and are pleased with its performance. The integrated GoPro mount is neat as it sits low on the helmet near the front. We were a bit unsure if the mount is secure enough prevent camera shake but it seems one can cinch down the two velco straps to minimize wobble. And of course it’s a cinch to remove as well.
It’s got a nice shape to it and it fits very securely with a wraparound shell and the Speed Dial system that provides a secure fit that’s not too tight.
The pads seem to work very well too a they’re low profile bu very supportive. But the highlight is the big visor that offers good sun protection but also flips up completely out of the way when not needed. And it’s compatible with goggles as well leaving a perfect place for the goggles and strap to rest on.
