While the debate over the definition of enduro rages on, the Big Mountain Enduro series' answer is pretty simple-a little bit of everything. With five stops ranging from the buff, high country singletrack of Crested Butte, Colo. to the full-face-required slopes of Keystone, as well as Utah's in-betweener destination of Moab, the 2014 BME season places a premium on variety and versatility.
Though the series is only in its second year, it's already got a loyal following of riders including some that lend credence to the disciplines's wide range. Cross country aces Heather Irminger and husband Jeremy Horgan-Kobelski vied for front-of-the-field status along with DH-specialists like Alex Petitdemange and Joe Lawill. Also in the mix are fast-on-all-fronts riders like Ross Schnell and Nate Hills.
