Video: The Dark Ride – A Different Kind of Night Ride

Video

With all the fresh bike light reviews that Mtbr Ultralord Francois has been pumping out, I went in search of a video to give me some night riding stoke. What I found was a great video from the guys at ShapeRideShoot from France. We have featured two other videos from ShapeRideShoot before including their 2012 Demo Reel and their Hooray For Us vids.

This one is called The Dark Ride and features riders Benoît Gurnel and Vincent Tupin. Other credits include the “Prises de vues (et prises électriques)” for David Dondana, Ludwig & Gaëtan Rey as well as Montage credit for Gaëtan. And the infectious, almost hypnotic soundtrack that we love? Music credit goes to Regina Spektor and the song title is “All The Rowboats”. We know that shooting video under conditions like this is difficult and that the setup must have taken a long time. The shots came out great and we’re chompin’ at the bit to go hit some dirt in the dark!

The Google translation of the original French Video Description says:
Our first white night for shooting some mountain bike. So sick!!

“Days of June are the longest of the year but yet it is still not enough! We take advantage of the mild weather and scorching heat to try our first night shoot. A big thank you to Vincent Benedict Gurnel Tupin and the two foals Bikebox who have nothing except f*cking sleep and roll and wild boars that have left us alone.”
