The Wahoo Fitness App gives complete control over displaying GPS and other sensor data AND they do not lock you into an online platform, the data is yours and you can choose a multitude of options to share your data on different online platforms.

I prefer the Runtastic Series. As I am able to use it for other sport activities. Their website offers also great features.

I also like the runtastic apps. I’ve tried runtastic, strava and most recently endomondo. Strava seems to have the best website though, with many useful features. However, it is quite easy to export from runtastic and import to strava. The only problem I have with runtastic is that it has such a great list of features that it tends to be somewhat battery hungry. I have not yet tried runtastic in airplane mode though.
