Video: Trail Trance – Enduro Rallying in Evolene

Video

Check out this lastet video from ShapeRideShoot called Trail Trance. It opens with some amazing time lapse sequences and great wildlife shots. The terrain featured here is located in a valley near Evolène in Swiss Valais and the trails (if you can call them that) have an almost “otherworldly” vibe.

(NOTE: We’ve had to remove the Trail Trance video for certain reasons, so we’ve substituted one of ShapeRideShoots other videos called Pursuit of Happiness, check it out below.)

Many thanks to Gaëtan and his crew for a really cool vid! The fun that the guys are having rallying around is clearly evident and be sure to watch for the pretty big double crash towards the end.

Official Video description for Pursuit of Happiness:
“Season is nearly over in bikeparks but don’t be sad, a lot of new things will come next year. We followed Vincent Tupin, Benjamin Rouiller and Julien Fournier in Châtel and Champéry to give you a teaser of next summer.”

Why is it that all of the freeride video’s they bring us, display so much skiding and trail mutalation when this is the type of misuse that creates problems for the reputation of MTN bikeing? I really enjoy freeride vids and the talented riders that are in them but this approach to rideing is not at all enjoyable to view. Also the trails that they abuse in this manner are not usually their home trails so locals are the ones who have to deal with repairing the mess left behind.

We’ve been asked by the ShapeRideShoot guys to remove the video due to certain issues. I have linked in one of their other videos from earlier this season.

video currently up has some pretty sweet riding in it. Very cool trail. Choice of music is awful…plenty of profanity. Not cool. Watching with my kids within earshot…had to hit mute ASAP!!!
