The Enduro World Series #5 in Whistler delivered two new but deserving winners to the series. Jared Graves took his first win after a string of missed opportunities while Anne Caroline Chausson recovered from an injury in the the first World Series race.

Jared Graves rode the best in the Winter Park World Series #4 race but a broken derailleur in Stage 2 of 5 took him out of the running. But in this Whistler race, he rode smart in the first 4 stages of the day and then he let it all hang out on Stage 5. He finished the stage with a time of 22:28, beating Clementz by 34 seconds. He ended up winning the overall by 12 seconds.

On the women's race, Anne Caroline dominated the field by winning every stage except for Stage 3 where she finished second. She said she loved the technical course and she feels she is fully recovered from the broken ribs she suffered in the World Series #1 race.
