Why you may never need to bunnyhop your bike again

Jeff Lenosky teaches the art of the punch in this instructional video

How To Video

Mastering the Art of the Punch

In 1997, Jeff Lenosky set the world record for bunnyhopping height on a mountain bike. But Jeff says there’s an easier way to get up and over obstacles on the trail — the punch. In this video tutorial Jeff details this more useful technique. Check it out and let us know what other skills you would like to learn about.

You can learn more riding skills from Jeff by catching one of his Trail Boss video episodes where he rides the unrideable. Check out his latest here, here, here, here and here.

Thanks you Jeff another great video.
Would also like to see your techniques on bailing safely when you don’t quite pull it off.
For example not enough speed and falling backwards or off balance to the side.
