XXC Magazine Issue #6 Now Available!

A new season and a new XXC Magazine!

XXC starts season two with nearly 60 pages of race coverage and photos from across the U.S. and around the world.

In issue six we journey 800 miles along the length of Germany’s former Iron Curtain with Gunnar Fehlau, as he recaps this past summers inaugural Grenzsteintrophy “race.”

“Regular guy,” Vance McMurry shares the first installment of his attempts to overcome a DNF marred 2009 season, and his quest to conquer the 2010 Breck 100. We’ll also see what it’s like to race along side a Pro, as amateur racer Heidi Volpe joins 3 time 24 Hour Solo World Champion Rebecca Rusch at the 2010 Tour de la Patagonia.

Speaking of Rebecca Rusch, just days after her return from South America, XXC had a chance to chat with Rebecca about racing, traveling, and her upcoming Mountain Town Movie Tour to raise money for the I.M.B.A. and promote the 2009 Leadville 100 film Race Across The Sky.

All this and much more in Issue #6 of XXC Magazine! Available as a digital download AND now in print!!!! It’s not cheap, due to our small circ, but it IS available for those who like print, and it IS pretty swank. Check out xxcmag.com for details.

And from now until April 1st, $1.00 of every digital download will benefit the NICA’s Texas HIgh School Mountain Bike Racing League AND the Mid Atlantic region’s Fast Forward Developmental Team. Get a good read, and help some young folk embrace their race addictions!

If you like your races long–get this now. I think it goes like this as far as things that are great:
    1) endurance racing
    2) reading about endurance racing
The really nice part is that I can keep reading it a work and minimize when someone comes in. Try hiding a magazine that fast (without looking like a total perv).
