XXC Magazine returns with another issue packed photos, tales of endurance racing and all day adventures in the dirt from around the country, and around the world!
XXC #7 starts the adventure here in the States with a race recap from British endurance racer Ant White at Arizona’s 24 Hours In The Old Pueblo. We’ll stay in Arizona with Jefe Branham at the Arizona Trail 300 Race. Then we head over to Texas and once again check in with “regular guy” racer Vance McMurry as he draws ever closer to DNF redemption at the fast approaching Breckenridge 100.
Done with the South West we go up to Iowa and read about Corey Godfrey’s Trans Iowa VI race experience. And because reading about hundreds of miles of rain soaked Iowa gravel isn’t enough, we’ll read about Brian Segal and Pope Mobley’s foray into endurance racing at the 2010 Barry-Roubaix in Michigan. XXC then finishes up our U.S. coverage with “Metro” Williams and 40 miles of East coast backcountry goodness at Shenandoah Mountain Touring’s Dragon’s Tale race.
But we’re not done yet! The XXC sickness is global baby! Jeff Lyall will take us along on the 680+ mile Kiwi Brevet in New Zealand, and Paul Errington pushes one gear at what might be the highest mountain bike race in the world- The 2010 Yak Attack stage race in Nepal. We complete XXC #7 with Tim VanGilder, a trip to Italy and the 2010 Riva del Garda Marathon.
