Yeah, I let it go. Although I'm still getting dinged on my credit card once a year from bluehost. I've tried a couple times to get it renewed, but haven't persisted. Kinda lost the passion for writing reviews and what not.

Hey Couleecruiser, Sorry I missed this. It was posted in the visitors messages where I rarely look. The Knolly group consists mostly of fairly competent riders but you'll also find that they're all pretty chill and patient with newer riders and our rides tend to be social, sessioning affairs. Lots of opportunities to catch up and watch others play on the more difficult lines. JEM area, gooseberry, Little Creek, and most of Zen and Barrels I would rate blue to back. Only Grafton and FM are more advanced and those are listed as second rides/alternate afternoon rides. Many will pass on those just due to fitness.

If your fitness is decent, your skill level is at least intermediate and you're willing to walk a few hard spots and pass on a few of the more advanced rides, I think you'd still enjoy the Knollyfest. Let me know if you have any other questions. Hope to see you there.

Hello PRob. I'm wanting to join you guys for the SW fling next month, I find out next week if work will let me. My concern is I'm a very new rider, lucky to have a Knolly as my first real mtb. I'm not good at jumps and drops and it seems most of the trails posted are black or double black like Flying Monkey. Perhaps I'm better off not going, working on my skills and maybe next year? At the bike park near me I prefer the blue trails, and my single track riding is a mix of green, blue and black. Blacks are no problem as long as I go around the jumps and drops.

    Hey Tomas,
I'm not sure where we go those clocks. I think Kelly ordered them. I can find out for you.
The first three or four years we just had the check point people use their own digital watches and tried to have the start and stop folks on the same timed section sinc them best they could. You might try an honor system if you can't find enough volunteers to man the checkpoints. Sounds like fun. I'll see if I can make it.

Hey Kent, I was wondering where you got those matching digital clocks used for timing on the Tears, Beers, Fears event? I am planning an 2 day enduro here in Flagstaff and Sedona on the last weekend of April. Speaking of which, if you could attend, let me know. Anyway, I'd like to maybe try those clocks, but maybe just a simple honor system of watch and self-score would be a bit more simple?

Hi, read the posts on marzocchi 55 rc3 ti and note you bought yours from HnR (the sale ones at $499). Are they 1.125 straight steerer or tapered?.

    thanks

Yeah I'm really liking the new Turner. It is a 2010 and only had about three months of use on it. It climbs really well. The first few rides it seemed like it didn't hook up on steep loose climbs as well as my other two bikes, but today it was clawing its way up everything. Maybe I'm just figuring out how to weight the rear wheel better.

$1000 sounds like a pretty good deal. I spent $1400 with some extras (headset, bb, front derailleur, Thomson seat post, seat post clamp) and even with the brokerage fees coming from Canada I think I scored a pretty good deal.

    Hey,

How are you liking your Turner? Is it a 2010? I am going to buy a 2010 that supposedly only has 30 miles on it. For a grand? Does it climb okay?
