Featured: Uvex Quatro Pro All Mountain Bike Helmet

Eurobike Helmets
Uvex follows up their XP-100 with a modern helmet that is functional, light and is suitable for All Mountain riding.

Like the Uvex helmets before it, the new Quatro Pro mountain bike helmet from Uvex features a height adjustable visor and a retention system that is secure and comfortable. But new for this year are adaptors for a light or camera. Ideal for either enduro or all-mountain use, the Quatro Pro’s long visor offers protection from the sun, and a spoiler at the back gives the helmet a racier look. Unique-shaped vents allow air to flow in warm weather. Double in-mold construction delivers high protection. A custom fit without pressure points is created with an anatomic IAS fit system, including wing-shaped supports at the back of the helmet, left and right of the fit wheel. The Quatro Pro’s lining is made from antibacterial, anti-allergenic, fast drying material that can be both removed and washed. The helmet features a universal mount on the top and comes with adapters for a helmet light or camera.

It works perfectly with one of the best lights in the industry, the Lupine Piko 3. We spotted it at Eurobike for 139 €. US pricing is to be determined.

Have been waiting for this helmet. On my second XP100, a wonderful product, and was looking for more coverage. Everything else is Chinese, which is fine, but I don’t want that. Wish it was MIPS like the Scott Stego, POC Trabec, etc. Still, I’ll be getting one when they are available.

What’s with the wing in the back? Does it increase downforce of the noggin?

  • Tyrebyter says:

The Uvex web site shows the Quatro Pro or for $20 less (or is it Euros), a Quatro with no silly rear wing.

What’s with the rear spoiler? Useless IMO. And rear end coverage doesn’t look as good as others.

Stopped reading after spoiler remark. It doesn’t look racier, it looks stupid.
