The Talon is a lightweight tire lever combo and a quick-link tool in one. If you think this new tool resembles Wolf Tooth’s Pack Pliers, you’re correct. Unlike the Wolf Tooth Pack Pliers, the Talon’s two-piece body can be unclipped to use as a pair of tire levers and can be clipped together to form pair of quick-link pliers to install and remove quick-links on chains. The Talon is constructed from fiber-reinforced nylon levers with stainless-steel tips for the pliers.  There’s also room inside the levers to store a spare quick-link, so you’re never left in a jam. The Talon works with 9- to 12-speed quick-links and chains.

The Talon can easily be carried on the bike.

The Talon sits alongside Granite Designs growing line of trailside repair items.

Like many of Granite’s tools, the Talon is designed to work with the Granite RockBand for easy storage. As a lightweight and no-hassle frame-strap, RockBand makes it easy to carry tools and inner tubes on your frame and lets you leave your backpack at home.

The Talon can be stored alongside other ride essentials.
