Dan Milner in his happy place.

Adventure is always afoot with the intrepid, Dan Milner. While Dan likes to keep life simple – his travels to the far corners of the Earth make us wonder what he’ll be up to next. As one of the most influential adventure photographers of our time, Dan Milner is the Photo Vagabond.

Hates Insta filters, helicopters, and crybabies. Frostbite. Political unrest. Dealing with injuries three days from a cell signal. This is Dan Milner riding since 1985, published regularly since 1993. Getting the shot under his own power. Lit as nature intended. Example, inspiration, and tough as hell.

Not twenty-something anymore Dan still lives to travel. A bit weary from the road less traveled, but always ready for the next adventure. Even if it is to North Korea.

“Making the bike thing work for me has been phenomenal,” says Milner. “It has taken me to so many places. It’s my work. It’s my life. And I’ve managed to bring those together and I’m a lucky, lucky person.”

A room with a view, well if you had the middle bunk. Not all lives need luxury. For Dan, he values his time on the trail, not some posh accommodations.
