Queen of the MTN: Weekend of Womens Mountain Biking Just 6 weeks away

Queen of the Mountain is a two day event combining mountain bike coaching and competition in a friendly and encouraging environment for women. Coaching will be available for all ability levels. Queen of the Mountain has a main focus on the gravity/freeride style of mountain biking but also provides excellent opportunities for beginner and cross country riders. Pros will compete for cash prizes in Sundays slopestyle contest while amateurs will battle for awesome prizes from our great sponsors. We will also have a rider judged best trick category, juniors, a raffle for all clinic participants and much more.

Terry Cox, the owner of College Cyclery has been kind enough to offer use of his riding facilities known as the Compound. The Compound has been built and worked on by a number of pro riders including; Randy Spangler, Josh Moreno, Josh Bender, and Kyle Jameson. Josh Bender has just begun building the slopestyle course that he has custom designed just for this womens event.

The compound currently features:

  • Indoor pumptrack with lights
  • Flow track
  • Electric start gate
  • 2 dirt jump lines (little tables and medium doubles)
  • A big but friendly trick jump

I’m interested and want to know what you’ll be teaching. I’m an intermediate racer/rider. Just want to make sure I’m not paying for skills I already have.
