Video: Haro Basecamp – Ryan Nyquist tries to whip

His resume is impressive but he's never done a whip

The foam pit is a handy learning tool for Ryan.

Haro rider Ryan Nyquist is a legend indeed. But in his 39 years, he’s never done a whip. Checking if he should enter the Crankworx Whip-Off Championship, he’s puzzled what the appeal is when one “doesn’t even take the hands and feet of the bike.”

He’s a quick study but the whip is no small feat at the highest level. The speeds and the heights at Whistler’s Crabapple hits are daunting.

Check out this refreshing video of pro bmx’er with many skills and resources attempting to learn what few have mastered.

Hilarious video by Ryan!

Any tips for Ryan aside from checking in at Youtube University?
