Video: Frank Schneider shreds on new 2015 Nicolai Pinion drive fatbike

Forthcoming Nicolai adds fat to belt drive gearbox bike

Fat Bike News Video

Because an internally-geared, belt driven bike just wasn’t out there enough, avant-garde
German bike makers Nicolai have released a promo video for their new Argon FAT Pinion bike, that adds 4.8-inch tires to the mix.

And while most of the fatbike videos we see demonstrate their amazing flotation qualities over sand and snow, or their rock crawler-like ability to conquer terrain, the Argon flat-out shreds in the bike park.

Because the pilot of said Nicolai is former German national downhill champ Frank Schneider, be forewarned that your results may vary.

No details yet, other than the bike comes equipped with a RockShox Bluto suspension fork, 4.8-inch tires, Gates Carbon Belt Drive and the Pinion transmission. The company will show it with details at Eurobike in September.
