In what seems to be the new golden age of Women’s World Cup XC racing, the young American, Kate Courtney has taken the Women’s field by storm.

The perfect storm has developed with a talented and colorful group of competitors, exciting courses and formats and wonderful live coverage by Redbull. Folks are talking about XC racing again in the US and social media is buzzing with content about the exciting World Cup racers.

The race could not have gone any better for Kate Courtney, winning the Short Track on Friday and then the big XC race on Sunday. Incredible skill, fitness and tactics converged to give her the top spots on the podiums.
