Video: The craziest line Remy Metailler has ever ridden

When even the king of gnarly BC lines is scared

Remy Metailler is a Frenchman riding the most incredible lines in Britsh Columbia. Not only does he ride the most difficult lines and jumps in the world, but he also does them with such speed and style that leaves even pro riders impressed. Just as well since most of these lines carry so much speed, exposure, and momentum that one cannot really slow down during the key moves.

In this segment, he hooks up with local shredder Steve Vanderhoek to find the most insane slabs of the North Shore. Grip is at a premium, lines are narrow and the consequence is very high.

Not only are the lines steep, there are steps in them that have to be gapped.

According to Remy, Steve Vanderhoek is a local legend! He first heard of him when he posted some crazy rock slab videos on Instagram and one who’s also had a few parts in some bike movies a while back. It’s absolutely incredible to see how these two break down lines and execute them with precision.
