After years of rumored expansion, the Whistler Mountain Bike Park has finally broke ground on the new Creekside Zone. The beginning phase will include five new trails (a total of 9 miles) and will increase the amount of lift access riding by 20%. The new trails should be open to the public next summer. The expansion will be completed by different teams. The Whistler Mountain Bike Park Trail Crew will tackle a machine build low-to-intermediate trail, while Gravity Logic will develop a low footprint machine-built singletrack.
Gravity Logic will also be responsible for two addition singletrack trails that will be hand built. The final trail will be a machine built intermediate level freeride trail by Joyride Bike Parks.
